Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for professional staff recruiting, benefits administration, and other special projects as assigned. This professional will report to the Director of Human Resources and collaborate closely with others in the firm.

Essential Functions
  • Manage all aspects of the professional staff hiring process, including job postings, applicant screenings, interviews, background checks, employment offers, onboarding, and new hire orientations. Must have strong experience sourcing candidates through Linked In Recruiter and other creative and innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Administer benefit programs, including but not limited to retirement and pension plans, medical, dental, vision, Section 125 plans such as HSA, FSA, and commuter benefits.
  • Payroll processing support and backup.
  • Oversee all leaves of absence related to STD/LTD, FMLA, Military Leave, and any other leave of absence.
  • Responsibility for managing Workers Compensation incidents.
  • Administer the attorney and professional staff evaluation and compensation/bonus processes.
  • Coordinate RFP processes for insurance broker, HRIS/Payroll, or any other HR or benefit-related process.
  • Act as the HRIS Administrator and provide support for users with technical problems.
  • Create, Revise, And Evaluate Job Description s.
  • Maintain working knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of trends, best practices, and innovations within the HR arena, recommending and implementing changes as appropriate.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
  • Execute duties with the highest level of professionalism and integrity at all times.
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Physical attendance and punctuality at the workplace.
Education And Experience
  • Bachelors Degree and SHRM Certification required. CEBS certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years in a professional service or law firm setting.
