Vice President, Learning & Talent Development – Luxury Hospitality, Caribbean
A world-class luxury hospitality group in the Caribbean is seeking a visionary Vice President of Learning & Talent Development. This role goes beyond traditional training—it’s about shaping the future of guest experience by building leaders, developing talent pipelines, and creating a culture where excellence is the standard. The VP will design and deliver a learning strategy that empowers thousands of team members to deliver service at the highest level while positioning the brand as an employer of choice in global luxury hospitality.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Define the Vision :
Architect and execute a forward-thinking learning and talent strategy that strengthens leadership capability, drives innovation, and ensures exceptional guest experiences. - Grow Leaders at Every Level :
Build immersive leadership academies, coaching programs, and succession planning systems that prepare talent for future growth. - Elevate Operations :
Ensure front-line and back-of-house teams deliver seamless, intuitive service across every touchpoint, from check-in to fine dining. - Ignite Culture :
Create dynamic programs that blend culture, engagement, and well‑being, ensuring every associate feels inspired to deliver luxury service with pride. - Innovate the Learning Experience :
Introduce cutting‑edge learning technologies—think mobile learning, gamified experiences, multilingual modules—that bring training to life. - Measure What Matters :
Track ROI and performance metrics that prove how learning directly elevates retention, promotion rates, and guest satisfaction. - Collaborate Globally :
Partner with senior HR, operations, and brand executives to align talent initiatives with business strategy and long‑term growth. - Coach & Influence :
Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor for executives and high‑potential leaders, shaping the next generation of luxury hospitality leadership.
- Increased internal promotion and retention of high‑potential talent
- Elevated employee engagement and guest satisfaction scores
- Clear, measurable ROI on training and development investments
- A reputation as a top employer in luxury hospitality across the region
- 10+ years of senior leadership in Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or Talent within large‑scale hospitality or service organizations
- Proven ability to design and scale innovative learning programs across diverse, multicultural teams
- Deep understanding of luxury service standards and how to embed them into every level of training
- Exceptional communicator and influencer, comfortable working at the executive table
- Global mindset with cultural sensitivity; multilingual abilities a plus
- Experience leveraging technology (LMS, mobile, digital learning) to deliver impactful programs
- Strong background in leadership development, change management, and organizational transformation
This senior executive role offers a competitive compensation package in the range of $140K–$150K, plus an executive housing allowance, medical benefits, retirement program, and generous vacation. Relocation support is provided for those joining the Caribbean lifestyle.
