Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid (2 days per week onsite required)

Aboutthe Role
The Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing for Green House’s growing workforce. This role partners closely with the Activation, Human Resources, and Finance teams to manage payroll operations, audits, reporting, and employee inquiries.
This is a highly visible, detail‑oriented role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in delivering world‑class service while maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities Payroll Operations- Process payroll across multiple frequency schedules using the payroll system, ensuring timely direct deposits, check printing, and distributions.
- Administer all payroll functions, including computing and transmitting payroll in the designated payroll system.
- Collect, analyze, and audit payroll data each pay period and perform monthly audits using the Time Management system.
- Review supporting documentation for accuracy and validate payroll preview reports prior to submission.
- Maintain audit integrity by adhering to strict payroll controls and internal guidelines.
- Prepare payroll and financial reports for management, including ongoing analysis of P&L expenses.
- Monitor changes in payroll, retirement, and benefits laws and ensure compliance.
- Handle payroll correspondence including employment verifications and unemployment wage requests.
- Provide world‑class customer service by addressing and resolving payroll‑related inquiries.
- Support employee onboarding by ensuring new hire paperwork, compliance training, and documentation are completed.
- Perform general administrative tasks in support of Payroll and HR teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
- 1–3 years of HR or Payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required).
- Strong auditing and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment with shifting deadlines.
- High level of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) strongly preferred.
- Agency or high‑growth company experience.
- Experience preparing management‑level financial reports.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Compensation: $45,000 – $55,000 annually (commensurate with experience) + bonus opportunity
- Benefits: Full benefits + unlimited PTO
- Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, regular business hours
