Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a HR Shared Services Specialist to join our Human Resources department based in Miami, FL
. Working in our Human Resources department, it’s our mission to help support Airbus’ greatest assets: our team members. We collaborate cross‑departmentally and with our global counterparts to ensure a positive employee experience.
The HR Shared Services Specialist will be responsible for providing world‑class support via phone, chat, and case‑management tools. The role encompasses corporate HR responsibilities and will liaise closely with the corporate HR functions.
Your Working EnvironmentThe Airbus Training Center (ATC) in Miami provides flight and maintenance crew training for Airbus airline customers – primarily those based in the Americas. The custom‑designed, 110,000‑square‑foot facility trains more than 2,000 cadets each year in a range of simulators and training classrooms for the A320, A330, A340, and A350 XWB families.

- Support the operational/administrative process for all personnel actions for employees, temps, and interns.
- Act as a liaison and clearing house for data between HRBPs, HRIS, Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and expatriation activities.
- Provide and analyze data for reporting purposes.
- Assist with annual HR cycles including performance review and open enrollment.
- Manage projects through completion, identifying scope, objectives, outcomes, and metrics.
- Work with individuals and teams, both nationally and internationally, to deliver projects on behalf of Airbus teams.
- Process and promote Airbus Employee Awards.
- Coordinate HR information to ensure data integrity across Workday, Service Now, and e‑Verify.
- Manage onboarding, transfers, expats, and employee changes, including I‑9 administration and personnel file creation.
- Perform termination administration duties, ensuring accurate data entry.
- Verify completion of pre‑employment background checks and drug screens; follow up on open items.
- Facilitate I‑9 and e‑Verify processes; follow up on non‑confirmation results.
- Provide first‑class customer service via phone, live chat, and case‑management channels.
- Support the positive culture and employee experience at Airbus.
- Support employee engagement, Employee Resource Groups, and recognition activities.
- Coordinate employment offer activities.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and facilitate new‑hire orientations.
- Respond to employee HR questions, redirect and elevate as needed.
- Field employee questions about the leave process.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of practical HR experience.
- Experience dealing with complex conflict situations.
- Experience working with IT systems and data.
- Experience managing multiple employee requests simultaneously.
- Experience communicating via chat, in person, and phone.
- Workday experience.
- Experience with case management and Service Now.
- Experience in an international/global environment.
- Experience in Human Resources within the aerospace industry.
