Job Overview

We are seeking a personable and dedicated Front Desk Agent with hotel experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As the first point of contact for guests, the Front Desk Agent plays a critical role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Efficiently handle the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy in reservation and billing.
  • Provide guests with information about hotel services, local attractions, and travel directions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively, aiming to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring presentation standards are upheld.
  • Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to guarantee all guest needs and expectations are met.
  • Manage reservations through various booking systems, updating and maintaining accurate guest records.

    Handle cash, credit card, and payment transactions securely and efficiently.
  • Uphold the security and privacy of guests, ensuring their details are not disclosed without authorization.
Qualifications
  • Previous hotel experience as a front desk agent or in a similar customer-facing role is required.
  • Proficiency with hotel management software (FOSSE) and office applications (e.g., MS Office).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
