Andaz Miami Beach is now recruiting a F&B Manager to join the hotel’s opening team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience.
Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who’s who of Miami.

Andaz Miami Beach is looking for a F&B Manager who is excited, qualified, hardworking, and has a passion for hospitality and a commitment to superior guest service. Experience with Micros is beneficial but not required. The Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the dining area in a restaurant, overseeing the dining room staff, maintaining a high level of customer service, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all guests.
The role involves managing daily operations, coordinating with other departments, and implementing strategies to enhance the overall dining room experience.
- Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Ensure that all perishable items used behind the bar are labeled/dated and rotate/ dispose to maintain quality control
- Works as part of a team
- Presents a positive, friendly, and professional attitude at all times, greeting guests warmly
- Provides prompt, professional, friendly, and personalized service to guests
- Supports fellow colleagues
- Performs opening side work and sets up station
- Attends and participates in training sessions and department meetings
- Delivers professional and exceptional food and beverage service
- Listens to guests and anticipates their needs; responds to questions and requests
- Proper serving of wine and alcohol (with awareness)
- Performs closing procedures and completes closing side work for assigned table sections
- Provides exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with guests throughout their dining experience
- Resolves customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Maintains a welcoming and comfortable dining room atmosphere
- Recruits, trains, and supervises dining room staff (servers, hosts/hostesses, bussers)
- Develops and implements training programs to enhance staff knowledge and service skills
- Schedules and assigns duties to staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
- Performs regular performance evaluations and provides feedback for growth
- Oversees daily dining room operations, including seating, reservations, and table turnover
- Monitors and manages table rotations to optimize seating and minimize wait times
- Collaborates with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely, coordinated service
- Maintains inventory of dining room supplies and coordinates restocking as needed
- Upholds high standards of food quality, presentation, and service consistency; resolves guest issues with orders
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation
- Conducts regular inspections of the dining area to maintain cleanliness and organization
