Speech Therapist PRN

The Home Health Care Speech Therapist provides speech therapy services as prescribed by physicians in patients' homes.

• Conducts comprehensive assessments and collaborates with physicians to develop treatment plans.
• Delivers rehabilitative speech and language therapy, documents progress, and reports patient responses.
• Educates caregivers and healthcare team members on speech correction techniques.
• May serve as case manager for therapy-only cases and participate in staff training and case conferences.
• Maintains confidentiality and submits documentation timely.

Qualifications include a degree from an accredited speech therapy program, at least one year of experience, and licensure in Florida. Strong communication, reasoning skills, and physical ability to assist patients are essential. The position is part-time, PRN, or per diem, with work primarily in patients' homes.
