Overview
Genetic Counselor (Temporary) at Vitrolife Group. This is a six-month temporary assignment. You will provide expert pre- and post-test telecounseling services to patients undergoing genetic testing and support a range of tests including PGT-M (single gene disorders), PGT-A (aneuploidy screening), products of conception (POC), and carrier screening. This role also serves as a key internal resource for clinical staff, contributes to protocol development, and participates in educational initiatives.

- Provide genetic tele-counseling services to patients for the genetic tests offered by Vitrolife Group, including pre- and post-test counseling for PGT-M, PGT-A, POC, and carrier screening.
- Serve as an internal expert and resource for the Vitrolife Group laboratory. Provide support and expertise to referring physicians and other clinical staff, including review and discussion of specific patient cases, clinical staff training in-service trainings, and educational webinars.
- Participate in regular team meetings with other genetic counselors to enhance expertise.
- Assist in the development of internal protocols to provide the best care to patients undergoing fertility treatments.

- Willingness to change and adapt to the evolving needs of a quickly growing company
- Ability to communicate effectively with both health care providers and with patients
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, while also understanding the need to work and collaborate as part of the Vitrolife Group team
- Ease and comfort working with a variety of technical platforms
- Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) program, and ABGC certified
- Experience in pre-conception and/or assisted reproduction therapy genetic counseling is desired
- Experience with carrier screening
- Applicants with multistate licensure are preferred
