Job Description

Vibrant Life Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes in the country of Miami Dade. The ideal candidate will have experience in senior care or working with people with developmental disabilities, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients. This role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and comfort, and promoting their independence.

* Responsibilities* -

• -Provides personal care and related services in the home, under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Supervising Nurse.

• -Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, and dressing.

• - Help with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met.

• - Monitor and record vital signs as needed.

• - Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities.

• - Assist clients with mobility, including lifting or transferring them safely when necessary.

• - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

• - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.

• - Document daily activities and report any changes in client condition.

• -Gives simple emotional and psychological support to the client and other members of the household and establishes a relationship with client and family which transmit trust and confidentiality

• -Reports any change in the client's mental or physical condition or in the home situation to the supervisor

* Qualifications*

• - Must have completed a minimum of 40 hours of training which includes an introduction to personal care services

• -Previous experience in home health care, nursing home settings, or senior care is preferred.

• - Familiarity with systems related to client care and support for individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.

• - Ability to perform basic health monitoring tasks, including taking vital signs.

• - Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

• - Physical ability to lift clients safely and assist them with mobility as required.

• - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in home health aide training are advantageous.

• - Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel between client homes.

• - Must have valid authorization to work in the US.
