DescriptionThe Equipment Planner is responsible for the planning, selection, procurement, and installation coordination of medical equipment and furnishings (FF&E) for healthcare facilities. This role ensures that equipment supports clinical workflows, complies with regulatory standards, and aligns with project budgets and timelines. The planner collaborates with clinical teams, architects, engineers, and vendors to deliver high-quality, patient-centered environments.
Qualifications Licenses & Certifications- Drivers License from Florida.
- LEED Green Associate Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Architecture, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and equipment planning software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and collaborate across disciplines.
- Experience with healthcare facility renovation and new construction.
- Familiarity with FF&E procurement processes and vendor management.
- Knowledge of emerging healthcare technologies and equipment trends.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
