Pharmacy Technician , Part Time

Apply for the Pharmacy Technician 1, Part Time position at the University of Miami.

• Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information and maintain patient records.
• Assist pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
• Receive and stock incoming medical supplies and drugs.
• Refer providers’ calls and medical questions to the pharmacist.
• Participate in orientation and assigned training program to attain competency in pharmacy technician duties.
• Stay abreast of basic knowledge of pharmacy law, regulations and standards, pharmacy informatics and technology including medication dispensing systems, and pharmacy calculations.
• Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State of FL registration.
• No experience required (Entry Level).
