The University of Miami, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, has an exciting full time opportunity for an Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technologist in Plantation, Florida. The Ophthalmic Diagnostic Technologist 1 will maintain competency in obtaining/recording the following items in the electronic medical record and perform ocular testing using specialty-specific imaging devices.

** Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
** Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes:
** Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal skills. Analyzes, organizes, and prioritizes tasks while working under pressure to meet deadlines. Seeks instruction in areas requiring additional knowledge.

Displays competent knowledge of ocular anatomy, function, and motility.

Demonstrates core knowledge of standardized imaging protocols based on diagnosis. Displays competent knowledge of refractometry.
