Job Summary

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team in Miami, Florida. As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Unity, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and residents. Our Per Diem team is dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services to our patients, and we are looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and providing wound care

• Assist patients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, medication administration, and treatment plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse or Director of Nursing

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Florida

• 1 year of experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting

• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
