Job Summary And QualificationsA licensed physical therapist assistant is responsible for the delivery of patient care by following the physical therapy treatment plan and communicating patient status changes as necessary. The physical therapist assistant is also responsible for providing physical therapy to patients/customers throughout the lifespan and able to provide age-specific direct care/services to this population. In addition, the licensed physical therapist assistant participates in clinical programs and interdepartmental activities within the organization.
They also function as a clinical instructor in the student affiliation program.
