Job Summary:

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our respiratory care department, you will provide high-quality care to our patients with diverse needs, from short-term rehabilitation to long-term care. • Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with various respiratory conditions, such as COPD, asthma, and pneumonia
• Conduct chest physiotherapy, aerosol therapy, and other respiratory treatments under the guidance of the medical team
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
• Monitor patient progress, report results to the medical team, and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and care, adhering to regulatory standards and facility policies

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in the State of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in respiratory therapy, with a desire to learn and grow with our team
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
• Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment, with frequent bending and standing
