Licensed Practical Nurse​/Per Diem

About this Position

Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide high quality care to our residents. We look for candidates who are friendly, fun, compassionate, good listeners, and team players.

$28.00/hr – $31.00/hr

Per diem; both shifts.

• Current LPN license in the state of Florida.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with geriatric patients, residents, family members, employees, and other facility guests.
• Ability to document information concisely and accurately.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse in a nursing home or hospital environment (preferred).
• Must pass a Level II Background Screening.
• Must pass drug test.

• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility.
• Ability to think and act calmly to handle unusual occurrences.

• Provides plan care for all resident attending to.
• Documents the patient care activities performed on the unit.
• Must document changes and follow up on condition.
• Organizes, cleans, and maintains the patient/resident units.
• Ensures that residents’ and patients’ rights are adhered to.
• Participates in departmental activities and follows established guidelines.
• Performs related duties as required.
