Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Dietician/Nutritionist to join our team! As a Dietician/Nutritionist on our team, you will be seeing multiple patients each day, reading their medical history, and listening to their stories and concerns. Based on that patient’s needs and lifestyle, you will be providing diet and nutrition advice, creating meal plans specifically for them, and offering changes they can make in their daily lives to live healthier, happier lives.

Responsibilities:

Reviews physician's orders for diet requirements of patients.

Interviews patients for diet information, food habits and records pertinent data.

Selects preferred foods or diets to provide necessary nutrition.

Instructs patients or relatives on diet therapy.

Inspects special diet trays for compliance with diet instructions.

Keeps records and reports regarding administrative operations.

Participates on interdisciplinary treatment team.

Job Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree

Experience:

Appropriate certifications with 3-5 years of related experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong understanding of nutrition and different diets

The ability to compassionately counsel people making major life changes

The ability to work independently and within a team environment

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
