Base pay range

$50.00/hr - $50.00/hr

The ideal candidate is dedicated to providing for his or her patients and exceeding expectations. As a Speech Therapist you will facilitate the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility.

Per Diem

• Providing monitoring and educational programs to staff
• Conduct reports and maintain proper documentation of information, such as client Medicaid and billing records and caseload activities, including the initial evaluation, treatment
• Creating, administering and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients
• Inputting the charges for services provided to patients in our computer system
• Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement
• Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings
• Communicating with the dietary department in regards to rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions
• Participating in workshops and in-service meetings with staff
• Maintaining records and documentation on the patients

• MS in Speech Therapy from an accredited speech-language pathology program
• Licensure to practice in the state of Florida
• Being CPR certified
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
