Mammography Technologist Per Diem (3625‑Fletcher)

Onsite Women’s Health seeks a qualified Per Diem Mammography Technologist to work in an OB/GYN office environment. The role offers a flexible schedule, no weekends or after‑hours work, and the opportunity to use the latest 3D tomosynthesis digital mammography equipment.

Position Overview

Work independently to provide high‑quality screening and diagnostic mammograms, support practice operations, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. You will play a key role in helping patients receive timely and accurate breast care.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients, explain procedures, and reduce anxieties to obtain cooperation.
  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures with proper exposure techniques and protocols.
  • Practice radiation protection, use beam‑restrictive devices, and apply patient shielding.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order and conduct required QA testing to meet MQSA, ACR, and state regulations.
  • Examine digital images for quality, prepare all required reports, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Process routine paperwork, data entry, and participate in professional development and affiliations.
  • Assist the radiologist with QA/QC reporting and perform mammography tracking per MQSA guidelines.
  • Keep all QA documents to exceed FDA inspection requirements and assist in obtaining and maintaining ACR accreditation.
Qualifications
  • Current CME credits and a strong focus on patient care.
  • Compassionate, computer savvy, and highly patient‑centric.
  • Ability to perform a variety of technical activities associated with screening and diagnostic mammography.
  • Flexible, can multi‑task, and willing to cover on short notice.
Experience & License
  • Mammography: 2 years (required)
  • ARRT certification (required)
