DescriptionThis position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The therapist must work independently, as part of teams, and make appropriate decisions based on each patient's functional needs. Candidates must have dependable attendance, flexibility, and be willing to work weekends, holidays, and late hours on a rotational basis as needed.
Estimated pay range is $50.00 per hour depending on shift.
- Evaluate and treat patients with medically prescribed therapy services.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet patient goals.
- Document progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
- Maintain professional standards and continue education.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Florida licensure required; provisional license acceptable during Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Provisional or licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Basic Life Support and CPR Certified.
- Minimum of less than 1 year of relevant experience.
