The Work You Will Do:

Under the direction of the Office of Secure Florida Director, this position serves as a program specialist implementing the statutory requirements for the department’s E‑Verify and property ownership by foreign principals programs. This is independent, advanced level work requiring a logical understanding of business practices and procedures to analyze cases, offer compliance support, and conduct enforcement actions as outlined in ss.

448.09, 448.095, 692.203, and 692.204, F.S.

Your Specific Responsibilities:
  • Receive, log, and track reports of violations of ss. 448.09, 448.095, 692.203, and 692.204, F.S., and conduct preliminary due diligence inquiries.
  • Draft and send communications regarding the compliance inquiry and the rights and responsibilities of the business owner, property owner, or other responsible party.
