Our client is seeking a financial professional who will provide leadership and guidance to a large operational accounting team for this longstanding, privately held company. The Assistant Corporate Controller will regularly interact with the Corporate Controller, CFO, and operational field leadership.
- work closely with multiple businesses under management on process improvement initiatives
- review and implement best practices relating to month-end close and reporting cycles, internal risk and controls, treasury, and cash management
- facilitate the development and mentorship of a diverse accounting and administrative team.
The successful candidate will be a CPA, have managed accounting and finance operations in a SOX-compliant environment, and bring a "builder" mentality to the organization.
