Specialist, Accounts Payable

As an Accounts Payable Specialist for a high-volume restaurant, the role will be to support the financial operations of the establishment. You will primarily be responsible for managing the payment processes and ensuring accuracy in recording and processing invoices related to the restaurant’s expenses.

• Handle the verification, reconciliation and processing of invoices received from vendors. This includes ensuring all invoices and credit memos are accurate and properly authorized before payment.
• Resolve any discrepancies with store managers and keep track of outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with the finance team and procurement team to schedule and process payments to vendors within agreed-upon terms and deadlines. This involves maintaining accurate payment records and ensuring compliance with the restaurants’ policies.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoicing and payment- related queries, maintaining accurate files and professional relationships.
• Assist in conducting monthly bank and credit card reconciliation.
• You will work closely with the finance team, as well as other departments, to ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.

• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience in high volume environment
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and heavy transaction volume.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and Word
• Working proficiency in cloud-based accounting ledger systems is a bonus (i.e., Restaurants 365, Net Suite, Sage Intact, M3, etc.)
• Must be detail oriented with ability to follow deadlines and maintain records.
• Reliable transportation to work in office Monday to Friday in Miami Beach, Florida
