Tax Director

Our client a global instantly recognisable brand are hiring for a Tax Director based in Miami. They are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented leader to oversee Global Tax Operations across all consolidated brands. This is a hands‑on role in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, ideal for someone who thrives on managing complexity and driving operational excellence across multiple projects.

• Tax Provision & Reporting (ASC 740):
• Lead the global tax provision process, including journal entry review, provision workpaper preparation, and analysis of tax accounting standards.
• Global Tax Compliance Oversight:
• Manage U.S. federal, state, and indirect tax filings.
• Coordinate with international finance teams to ensure accurate non-U.S. tax compliance.
• Maintain the global tax calendar and compliance protocols.
• Oversee external advisors supporting global tax filings.
• Internal Controls & Regulatory Compliance:
• Maintain and monitor SOX tax controls and ensure compliance with global tax control requirements (e.g., UK Senior Accounting Officer rules).
• Tax Forecasting & Analysis:
• Lead tax forecasting efforts and variance analysis to support financial planning and strategic decision‑making.
• Oversee tax‑related disclosures in local statutory financial statements.

Work closely with the Director of Tax Strategy to integrate new business initiatives and tax law changes into operational processes. Partner with key internal stakeholders including International Finance, Managing Directors, Internal Audit, Legal, External Financial Reporting, Treasury, Revenue Management, IT, and Global Tour Operations.
