As a Business Banker, you’ll be the face of the bank in one of the most dynamic, opportunity-rich markets in the country. You’ll drive new loan production, expand deposits, and cultivate deep, lasting client relationships in Miami’s business community.

Essential Job Functions- Develop and manage strong business relationships by understanding each client’s unique needs and delivering tailored financial solutions
- Drive loan production and deposit growth through proactive outreach, cross-selling, and opportunity identification
- Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities across a broad suite of financial products and services
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, smooth transactions, and exceptional client experiences
- Represent the bank in the Miami community through active involvement in professional groups and local events
- Mentor junior team members, offering guidance on relationship development, credit fundamentals, and best practices
- Collaborate with Business Banking leadership to influence market strategy, portfolio performance, and competitive positioning
- Continuously optimize your portfolio by monitoring client performance, credit quality, and market conditions
- Proactively manage risk to ensure balanced growth, profitability, and regulatory compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Advanced understanding of the business banking landscape, including customer needs, competition, and regulatory expectations
- Comprehensive knowledge of bank products, services, and business financial solutions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and confidently
- Sound judgment and discretion in decision-making
- Ability to build trust, influence stakeholders, and deepen relationships at all levels
- Proven initiative and drive to meet sales goals, innovate, and grow the market
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams and leadership levels
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical ability, and problem-solving skills
- Solid credit assessment skills with the ability to evaluate risk and make informed lending decisions
- High integrity and commitment to upholding the bank’s culture, values, and reputation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, tight deadlines, and shifting demands
- Willingness to travel overnight as needed
- Proficiency in banking systems, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field
- 3+ years of business banking sales and client relationship experience (or related financial services experience)
- 1+ years of credit analysis and risk assessment experience
- 1+ years of leadership, coaching, or mentoring experience preferred
