Staff Accountant

Support the finance team of a growing financial services organization by handling core accounting functions, reconciliations, and reporting related to investments, client assets, and operational transactions in a regulated environment.

• Prepare and post journal entries for investment transactions, fees, accruals, and general ledger activity.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations (e.g., bank, brokerage, investment positions, and sub-ledgers).
• Assist with month-end close, financial statement preparation, and supporting schedules.
• Process accounts payable/receivable, expense reports, and vendor payments.
• Support compliance with GAAP, regulatory reporting (e.g., SEC filings if applicable), and internal controls.
• Help with budgeting, variance analysis, and ad-hoc financial queries from management or clients.
• Maintain accurate records for audit readiness and participate in external audits as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in financial services, asset management, investment advisory, brokerage, or related regulated industries

• Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or investment platforms).
• Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and commitment to accuracy/compliance.
