DMT is seeking an Associate to assist in all aspects of multifamily asset management. The associate will play an integral role in supporting DMT’s ambitious growth strategies within the CRE lending space and is expected to learn and grow. In short, the associate will be involved in all processes of the asset management of DMT multifamily portfolio, working with industry veterans to gain hands‑on commercial real estate experience and asset management knowledge.

- Aggregate, track, and "spread" comprehensive borrower financial data, including balance sheets, P&L statements, rent rolls, and AR/AP aging schedules.
- Conduct rigorous monthly and quarterly financial analyses to monitor asset‑level performance; identify and discuss material variances or covenant non‑compliance with borrowers.
- Perform detailed re‑underwriting of transitional commercial real estate loans to assess ongoing credit viability and the feasibility of exit strategies.
- Review financial performance against loan documents and warehouse agreements to ensure strict adherence to all reporting and financial covenants.
- Monitor and manage key loan milestones, including maturity dates, extension options, potential payoffs, and necessary loan modifications or amendments.
- Facilitate the timely satisfaction of all reporting requirements for warehouse providers and participating lender partners.
- Conduct in‑depth reviews of loan documents to ensure all asset management actions align with legal and structural requirements.
- Perform ongoing monitoring of market conditions, tracking performance trends, projections, and analyzing comparable properties to assess collateral positioning.
- Evaluate and prepare formal recommendations for lease proposals, property releases, and other borrower consent requests.

- 5) years of experience in commercial real estate, mortgage servicing, loan underwriting, credit, risk management, financial analysis, or a combination thereof - Must have strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Undergraduate degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a strong record of academic achievement
- Excellent work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple transactions and multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
- Expertise in financial modeling and risk analysis
- Ability to successfully handle interactions with a variety of people in differing roles (Loan Sponsors, origination staff, top‑level executives, etc.)
- Problem‑solver, self‑starter mentality with an ability to work independently
