Accounting Operations Specialist - Wealth Management

A Family Office is seeking an Accounting Operations Associate to support day-to-day financial and operational activities. The position works directly with the firm’s senior finance leadership and offers exposure beyond traditional bookkeeping.

Approximately 50% of this role will focus on core bookkeeping and accounting operations, with the remaining time dedicated to higher-level financial activities including real estate projects, budgeting, investment operations, and exposure to estate and tax planning. Training will be provided on more advanced responsibilities.

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting operations using Quick Books
• Allocate, process, and pay invoices accurately and timely
• Reconcile bank accounts and financial records
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and account balances
• Support implementation and transition to new accounting systems
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial tracking
• Support real estate-related financial activities and project tracking
• Gain exposure to investment operations, including private investments and hedge fund structures
• Assist with ad hoc financial and operational projects as needed in a lean family office environment

• 3+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounting operations
• Hands‑on experience with Quick Books is required
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Interest in learning broader financial operations beyond bookkeeping
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast‑paced, small‑office environment
• Experience with Addepar is a plus (or interest in investment operations)
