Tax & Accounting Manager
Location: Coral Gables, FL (Hybrid)
We are partnering with a growing private family office seeking a Tax & Accounting Manager to support the financial and tax operations of a multi-entity, high-net-worth environment. This is a hands‑on role offering the opportunity to work closely with principals while helping build and refine internal accounting and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and enhance accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes across multiple entities
- Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls for family office operations
- Prepare and review partnership, LLC, and individual tax returns
- Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies
- Respond to federal and state tax notices and manage related correspondence
- Develop and maintain cash flow forecasting to support both personal and investment-related planning, including capital calls and distributions
- Perform day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, accounts payable, and entity maintenance
- Interpret and apply legal and financial documents such as partnership agreements, loan documents, and trust-related materials
- Serve as a key financial and tax resource to the principals, providing insights and recommendations
- Oversee insurance coverage for personal and business-related assets and ensure proper documentation and compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Approximately 5–7 years of accounting and tax experience
- CPA and/or public accounting background required
- Prior experience supporting high-net-worth individuals, family offices, or closely held entities preferred
- Exposure to investments, multi‑entity structures, or real estate is a plus
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Self‑starter with a high level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax and accounting professional seeking a hands‑on role within a growing family office environment.
Compensation: $130,000 per year
