FP&A Manager

This role is hands-on, highly operational, and designed for someone who understands how financial decisions impact the field in construction, manufacturing, or mechanical environments.

• Create and maintain a fully integrated forecast covering income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and longer‑term planning using operational drivers
• Evaluate project and production performance using job‑cost and percentage‑of‑completion concepts
• Link labor efficiency, backlog, productivity, and pricing trends to margin results
• Translate operational execution into cash flow and working capital visibility
• Evolve reporting from historical variance explanations to forward‑looking analysis
• Partner directly with operational leaders to support decision‑making and execution
• Establish structure, discipline, and scalable FP&A processes as the business grows
• Operate effectively in a fast‑paced, blue‑collar operating environment with limited existing structure

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline required; advanced credentials such as an MBA or CPA are preferred
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A or corporate finance
• Prior experience within construction, manufacturing, or mechanical services environments is required
• Demonstrated ability to build complex financial models and forecasts from the ground up
• Advanced Excel capabilities with strong attention to detail and data integrity
• Hands‑on experience with ERP, planning, and business intelligence platforms, including COINS, Datarails, One Stream, and Power BI
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and practical application of accounting standards
• Proven track record of partnering closely with operations and senior leadership
• Comfortable creating order, processes, and discipline in environments that are still maturing
• Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
