SVP, Chief Finance Officer

Our Client is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial operations and ensure alignment with the Bank’s mission of delivering value to its stakeholders.
The CFO will work closely with the Executive Committee, Board of Directors and other executives to shape and execute the bank’s goals and strategic vision.
The CFO will play a critical role in driving financial performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Collaborate with the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to align financial strategies with Company’s overall goals and business objectives.
    • Provide financial insights and strategic recommendations to support decision-making and long-term planning.
    • Drive initiatives that promote growth, profitability, and sustainability while maintaining the bank’s commitment to operational integrity.
  • Financial Management
    • Oversee the development of budgets, forecasts, financial statements, and performance metrics to ensure accurate reporting and financial transparency.
    • Manage the bank’s cash flow, assets/liability, capital structure, and liquidity to meet operational and strategic needs.
    • Optimize capital allocation to support investments and maximize returns.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and corporate governance principles.
    • Lead the coordination of audits, regulatory filings, and tax compliance with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust risk management policies and controls.
    • Maintain internal systems to safeguard the bank’s financial integrity and reputation.
  • Team Leadership
    • Build, develop, and mentor the finance team, promoting a high-performance and collaborative work environment.
    • Establish succession planning and professional development opportunities for key team members.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and key point of contact for investors, regulators, and external stakeholders.
    • Effectively communicate financial results, strategic priorities, and forecasts to the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and external audiences.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or equivalent designation is a plus.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in senior financial leadership roles, with a proven track record in aligning financial strategies with corporate goals.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, treasury, tax, and regulatory frameworks, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Exceptional leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in financial systems, analytics, and reporting tools.
