Payroll Specialist

Description

Our company is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team in the downtown area. This permanent, full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for growth in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

+ Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations

+ Maintain employee payroll records, update information, and resolve discrepancies

+ Handle payroll deductions, benefits, and taxes according to guidelines

+ Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff and management

+ Prepare reports and summaries for management as needed

+ Support month-end and year-end payroll procedures

+ Assist with audits and ensure confidentiality of payroll data

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

+ 1+ years of payroll experience required

+ Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Excel

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
