Sr. Analyst, Financial

Position Summary

Return Pro is seeking a highly capable accounting and finance professional to own financial accuracy, reporting integrity, and analytical insight across a fast-growing, complex organization. This role blends technical accounting execution with financial analysis and process improvement, supporting leadership decision-making and scalable operations.

• Manage vendor and service reconciliations and execute monthly client invoicing
• Perform monthly accruals and support timely, accurate month-end close
• Maintain sales and service reporting to ensure accurate billing and proper revenue recognition
• Execute day‑to‑day revenue and accounts receivable activities
• Support customer audit requests with clear documentation and data validation
• Produce financial and operational analysis to support Accounting leadership and FP&A
• Perform cost allocations and cost‑reduction analyses to identify efficiency opportunities
• Support strategic planning, annual budgeting, and financial forecasting processes
• Develop and maintain process documentation for compliance, balance sheet tracking, training, and continuity
• Leverage accounting systems and tools to automate reporting and improve consistency
• Support ad‑hoc requests from Accounting Management and the Chief Financial Officer
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives as the business scales

• Strong Accounting and/or Finance Foundation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or financial analysis
• Advanced Excel & Technical Reporting Skills
  • High proficiency in Excel (complex formulas, pivots, reconciliations, data analysis)
  • Ability to build and maintain structured, repeatable financial reports
• Month‑End Close & Financial Accuracy Ownership
  • Hands‑on experience owning accruals, reconciliations, and close timelines
  • Strong commitment to accuracy, controls, and documentation
• Financial Analysis & Process Improvement Mindset
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into recommendations
  • Demonstrated interest in improving processes, not just maintaining them
