Position SummaryThe Sr. Product Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Fund Advisory team through the generation of mutual fund and ETF ideas aligned with the bank’s framework. This position involves close collaboration with Bankers and Advisors to communicate product insights and ensure offerings are responsive to evolving market conditions and client needs. The role includes conducting ongoing analysis and research across the investment universe to complement the recommended fund list, and provides support across multiple functions, including the preparation of analytical reports, implementation of new projects, and other initiatives that enhance the team’s effectiveness and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with the Fund Advisory team to develop investment proposals and generate mutual fund and ETF ideas aligned with client and market needs. (20%)
- Prepare high‑quality reports and presentations for senior management, investment committees, and commercial teams, covering new product launches, strategic initiatives, and fund recommendations. (10%)
- Produce periodic reporting to monitor and analyze the performance of the mutual fund and ETF universe, including identifying under/over performance against benchmarks and peer groups. (5%)
- Support the ongoing review and monitoring of the approved mutual fund and ETF universe by identifying inconsistencies or deviations within the security master database. (5%)
- Draft and distribute clear, insightful communications to Bankers and Advisors on recommended universe performance, including rationale for changes (entries, exits, updates, alerts). (10%)
- Act as liaison between the Fund Advisory team and Commercial and Investment areas to ensure effective alignment and dissemination of investment ideas, new products, and initiatives. (20%)
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of marketing materials that support Fund Advisory efforts and enhance the visibility of offerings on Digital Wealth platforms. (10%)
- Participate in meetings with fund managers to deepen understanding of investment strategies and provide feedback to internal stakeholders. (10%)
- Continuously monitor both solicited and unsolicited holdings across client portfolios to identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and targeted advice. (5%)
