Aboutthe Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have 3‑5 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Experience in FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) is essential, and previous exposure to the insurance industry will be considered a plus.
Responsibilities- Perform detailed financial analysis to support key business decisions.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct variance analysis to explain deviations from budgeted figures and provide actionable insights to management.
- Support the FP&A team in monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
- Develop financial models to assess business performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial performance with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in a financial analysis or FP&A role.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills – experience with financial software and ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial data to non‑financial stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Experience with Vena and/or Net Suite.
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional certification is a plus.
