Senior Underwriter - Real Estate

Base pay range

$110,000 – $125,000 per year

Our client is a Miami-based co‑investment platform focused on identifying, structuring, and operating alternative real‑estate investment opportunities.

We’re looking for a highly analytical and experienced Senior Real Estate Underwriter to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for a finance‑minded professional with deep experience in real‑estate underwriting, valuation, and financial modeling who’s ready to play a key role in our investment decision‑making process.

• Develop and Enhance Financial Models: Build and refine underwriting models to evaluate new and existing real‑estate investments.
• Analyze Market Trends: Use analytics tools to evaluate risks and identify portfolio‑enhancing opportunities.
• Evaluate Assets & Collateral: Assess the financial and physical quality of properties and investment opportunities.
• Conduct Risk Scenarios: Run scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide risk mitigation strategies.
• Present Investment Reports: Create and deliver underwriting reports to the Pipeline and Investment Committees.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field (advanced degrees/certifications like CFA, CCIM, or MAI are a plus).
• Minimum 8 years of experience in real‑estate investment management, underwriting, or valuation (commercial and residential).
• Advanced Excel proficiency (financial modeling, IRR, NPV, cash‑flow forecasts).
• Familiarity with Argus, CoStar, or other industry tools.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written).

• Salary: $110K–$125K base + 25%–40% performance bonus
