Position Overview

We are seeking a Part‑Time AV/Event Technician to assist with setup, operation, and strike of audiovisual equipment at various live events. This is an ideal role for someone with basic AV knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of audio, lighting, and LED video walls.
  • Operate sound systems, stage lighting, and LED software such as Arena and NovaLCT.
  • Load and unload gear safely and efficiently.
  • Follow instructions from senior technicians and crew leads.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper cable management and storage.
  • Support the overall execution of live events in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future need for visa sponsorship.
  • Working knowledge of basic audio systems and lighting equipment (signal flow, wired and wireless mics, speakers, LED lighting, DMX, etc.).
  • Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work on your feet for extended periods.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and punctuality.
  • Flexible schedule – must be available for evenings, weekends, and irregular hours depending on event needs.
  • Experience in live events, theater, or concerts is a must.
