Member Team Lead – Sam's Club Base pay range

$21.00/hr - $29.00/hr

The Member Team Lead will assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance and fostering member satisfaction.

• Assign tasks, communicate goals and provide feedback and training to associates.
• Provide direction and guidance on member service approaches to resolve complaints per company guidelines.
• Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types, programs and benefits, and encourage renewals.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and provide support with self‑service technology.
• Oversee assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning merchandise, identifying shrink and damage, and maintaining cart cleanliness.
• Complete accounting records, file transactions, and oversee cash deposits and fund transfers.
• Develop, communicate, and implement processes to meet business needs, analyze progress, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Promote compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Lead and participate in teams to coordinate work assignments and ensure timelines and quality.

• 6 months of retail experience operating front‑end equipment (e.g., cash register) and 6 months of customer service experience.
• Minimum age 18 years.

• Experience leading a front‑end team and supervising (hiring, evaluating, mentoring, workload management).
