RoleWe are looking for a Fire Protection Engineer at our Miami, FL office (Hybrid role).
Responsibilities- Design of fire suppression and fire alarm systems in the Mission Critical Market Sector with the potential to work throughout all company market sectors including academic, commercial, healthcare, and science & technology.
- Design of automatic sprinklers, standpipes, fire pumps, gaseous agent suppression, fire alarms, voice evacuation, mass notification, and other fire protection systems.
- Coordinate with the design team and/or construction staff to lead related portions of construction planning.
- Visit the project construction site throughout the construction administration process.
- Prepare field reports, RFI responses, and FP/FA shop drawing and submittal reviews.
- Survey existing project sites to document conditions and assess FP/FA infrastructure.
- 7+ years designing fire protection and fire alarm systems.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Fire Protection Engineering.
- AutoCAD or Revit.
Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $/yr
