Senior Roadway Department Manager

Job Description

CHP Engineers & Surveyors is looking for a Roadway Department Senior Project Manager responsible for the management of active projects and for the pursuit of projects statewide.

Responsibilities:

• Management of active roadway projects
• Production of active projects
• Be proactive and aggressive in the pursuit of new work

Requirements:

• Extensive FDOT experience required
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) for 15+ Years
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent personnel management skills

CHP has been in business since 2004 providing Professional Engineering and Surveying and Mapping Services to the Florida Department of Transportation, other government agencies and the private sector.

We have received awards from the American Council of Engineering Companies in Florida and from the Florida Transportation Builders Association for outstanding projects in Design and Construction Inspection services.

We currently have 54 staff members including 13 Professional Engineers, 1 Professional Traffic Operations Engineer, and 3 Professional Surveyors and Mappers. A large number of our staff have been with the firm for over 10 years.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42.00 - $64.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Micro Station: 10 years (Preferred)
• AutoCAD: 10 years (Preferred)
• FDOT Work: 10 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Professional Engineer License (Required)
