Our client is a leader in transportation engineering and design based in Miami seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the west coast of Florida who will be responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work and conducting field tests.

• Directing a highly complex and specialized construction engineering administration and inspection program
• Planning and organizing the work of subordinate and staff members
• Developing and/or reviewing policies, methods, practices, and procedures
• Reviewing programs for conformance with Department standards
• Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit

• Professional Engineer (PE) registered in the State of Florida, ability to obtain endorsement in the State of Florida within 6 months of Project NTP if registered in another state.
• 6 years of engineering experience, 2 years involved in relevant transportation projects, 5 years for Complex Category 2 (CC2) and PTS bridge structures
• Master's Degree in Engineering may be substituted for 1 year engineering experience.
• FOOT Advanced MOT, CTQP Quality Control Manager (Attend and pass the examination)
