Responsibilities:
- Run field operations, providing technical support and troubleshooting on‑site equipment issues.
- Install, maintain, repair and test equipment to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
- Conduct site inspections and install new technologies while ensuring compliance with engineering designs.
- Analyze data, monitor expenditures, and draft clear progress reports for stakeholders.
- Enforce compliance with safety, environmental, HIPAA, OSHA, FDA and other regulatory standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and CAD documentation for project execution.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and clients to resolve technical challenges and implement effective procedures.
- Conduct research, feasibility studies and performance testing on equipment and processes.
- Deliver equipment training to customers and local support teams.
- Manage parts inventory, preventive maintenance, modifications and repair schedules in the field.
- Maintain accurate service logs, documentation and communications with customers.
- Identify and support sales opportunities including new contracts, renewals and system sales.
Must‑Have
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum five years of related field engineering experience.
- Expertise in mechanical systems, troubleshooting and technical support.
- Proficiency with CAD software, prototyping and product testing.
- Knowledge of equipment installation, control systems and maintenance protocols.
- Strong analytical, organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements including HIPAA, OSHA and FDA.
Nice‑to‑Have
Skills:
- Advanced degree in engineering or related technical field.
- Experience with manufacturing or start‑up environments.
- Business development, sales or marketing experience.
- Ability to create business plans and actionable objectives.
- Networking and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
