• Lead with innovation and expertise, guiding multi‑disciplinary teams through the intricacies of wastewater process engineering, ensuring every initiative meets its designated targets for scope, schedule, budget, and beyond

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Senior Wastewater Engineer who will support our Florida/Puerto Rico Water Market team, build strategic business partnerships, and deliver high‑profile projects with key municipal clients in Florida and Puerto Rico. As a key member of our team, you’ll have the chance to work on challenging projects as the key technical lead for wastewater treatment projects – planning, directing, monitoring, and/or delivering all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning.

As a Senior Wastewater Engineer, you will need to understand client organizations and processes, develop and maintain consistent relationships at all organizational levels, and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant‑of‑choice for our clients.

• Lead and manage teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract
• Work with Project Managers to develop the most suitable solutions for our client's most challenging issues
• Be accountable for successfully completing projects to the satisfaction of clients and key stakeholders, while simultaneously ensuring that Jacobs’ business and policy expectations are met in the areas of health and safety, quality, financial, project delivery, and risk management
• Play a leadership role in business development activities that result in the award of new wastewater contracts, including client relationship development, project‑specific positioning activities, teaming arrangements, proposal preparation, and oral presentations
• Contribute to the development of a Miami Market Strategy that delivers leading‑edge technology solutions for our clients while also actively diversifying and expanding our client base
