You will be responsible for a team of engineers who contribute to the development of Char Network, an open‑source Bitcoin staking platform. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineering Manager to lead and contribute equally to hands‑on engineering and team management. This dual‑role position is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about building systems that work seamlessly together, mentoring teams, and ensuring smooth coordination across various stakeholders.

The successful candidate will oversee integration efforts, manage engineering calendars, run development cycles, review pull requests, and track progress while mentoring engineers and maintaining high standards of contribution quality and documentation.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure all components and systems integrate seamlessly.
• Provide hands‑on technical contributions, including writing, reviewing, and maintaining high‑quality code.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring compatibility across various systems.
• Identify and resolve conflicts arising from differing design decisions.
• Oversee and manage the engineering calendar, ensuring timely execution of development cycles.
• Manage tickets and prioritize engineering tasks effectively.
• Conduct regular check‑ins with team members to track progress and address concerns.
• Lead and facilitate pull request reviews to maintain high code quality and documentation standards.
• Mentor engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.

• Proven experience in software engineering and system integration roles.
• Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to manage teams and engineering processes.
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing development cycles and workflows.
• Expertise in reviewing code, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining high documentation standards.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to manage priorities and resolve conflicts.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.

• Experience working with Bitcoin.
• Experience leading teams and improving team contribution quality.
• Track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent soft and people skills.
• Experience working in C++ or Rust.
