Shop Apprentice

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures, a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft structural components, is currently seeking a Shop Apprentice to join our growing team.

As a Shop Apprentice, you will assist experienced technicians in the surface prepping, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft structural components. This entry‑level position is designed to provide on‑the‑job training and exposure to key processes used in the aerospace MRO industry, including the use of precision tools, equipment, and technical documentation.

The apprentice will follow safety and quality procedures while developing a foundational understanding of aircraft materials, repair methods, and FAA regulations. Over time, the role will expand based on performance, with opportunities to grow into more specialized technician positions.

• Must be able to use the required hand tools.
• Must be able to read and interpret technical data.
• Must be able to take directions and learn quickly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow all company and FAA safety and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Ability to work in a team oriented, fast‑paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
