About the Position

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures, a leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft structural components, is hiring a Shop Apprentice. The role provides on‑the‑job training and exposure to key aerospace MRO processes, including precision tooling, equipment use, and technical documentation.

• Assist experienced technicians with surface prepping, disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of aircraft structural components.
• Follow safety and quality procedures while developing a foundation in aircraft materials, repair methods, and FAA regulations.
• Gradually assume more specialized technician responsibilities based on performance.

• Ability to use the required hand tools.
• Strong reading and interpretation of technical data.
• Ability to take directions and learn quickly.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Adherence to all company and FAA safety and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Team‑oriented, fast‑paced work capability.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing for extended periods.
