Coordinates the Dual Enrollment program within the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs initiatives, to include the programs HR functions, faculty mentorship program, maintaining the dual enrollment website, and ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities- Prepares mentor agreements, contracts, and Electronic Request for Additional Compensation (eRACs) for Dual Enrollment faculty liaisons and adjuncts. Conducts as needed site visits with FIU Faculty dual enrollment mentors at partnering high schools (K-12) to ensure compliance of off-site programs.
- Works alongside Assistant Director on implementing Dual Enrollment initiatives and projects.
- Facilitates new Dual Enrollment faculty onboarding and courtesy appointment renewals.
- Serves as a liaison to internal offices, coordinates training and communications, and maintains program resources. Supports other college functions, including course scheduling and assessment, while collaborating with academic leadership to ensure smooth program administration.
- Assist the Associate Director with Panther 180 initiatives.
- Acts as the liaison to the Office of the Provost specifically for dual enrollment textbook adoption, to ensure compliance with institutional textbook adoption policies. Provides guidance and support to SIPA departments on dual enrollment related textbook adoption issues.
- Coordinates the development and delivery of training, workshops, and newsletters centered on best practices and other topics related to dual enrollment. Maintains college dual enrollment website in collaboration with the Green Schools marketing team.
- Attends meetings and/or participates in special projects concerning textbook adoption processes or initiatives.
- Assists administration/leadership with conducting orientations and information sessions for faculty on accreditation standards.
- Assists in developing strategies for increasing assessment submissions.
- Communicates with department chairs, directors, and schedulers regarding the scheduling of program sections, both dedicated and combined. Ensure faculty are properly assigned to program courses/sections in Panther Soft and verifies credentialing of faculty for courses who are missing primary instructors.
- Assists in the coordination of the development and implementation of trainings and co-host trainings for department schedulers on the use of Office of Class Management systems. Serves as backup scheduler.
- Coordinate efforts with resolution finding of the Green Schools homeless courses. Runs daily reports and queries and analyze data to ensure goals and objectives are being met.
- Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of appropriate experience, or Master's degree.
- Experience in a Higher Education environment.
