Tutor - Part-Time, Alpha

• Preparing equipment, materials, and spaces for sessions and workshops.
• Supporting academic staff in their daily activities.
• Monitoring and facilitating student engagement.
• Managing session transitions and coordinating schedules.
• Receiving mentorship from leaders transforming K-12 education.

  You won't merely observe or supervise from a distance; you'll actively engage in supporting students throughout their learning experience.
• Experiencing burnout:

Assist Guides in fulfilling Alpha's promises to students: driving academic achievement, developing life skills, and cultivating a genuine love for learning.

• Available to work on-site at our Miami campus.
• Commit to a minimum of 10 hours weekly, with complete flexibility to select your schedule within school hours (Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM). Full-time option available.
• Prior experience working with children.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Approachable, kid-friendly demeanor.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship.

This is a part‑time (20 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $30,000 USD/year assuming 20 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
