The Student Access and Success Department is currently seeking a Temporary Summer Program Coordinator to join their team of professionals.
Duties include- Ensure program quality and consistency by providing support to all summer staff.
- Coordinate with Program Manager to ensure all program initiatives are followed.
- Oversee summer staff.
- Coordinate weekly staff meetings.
- Attend field trips.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding updates to the program.
- Must be flexible and assist in any and all areas of summer program as needed and directed.
- Reside in assigned residence hall with students and enforce residence hall and university policies to guide appropriate student behavior.
- Communicate and share with program staff relevant information concerning student and program issues and seek immediate assistance from Program Manager when a situation exceeds your experience or expertise, and inform such staff of any concerns regarding student participant behavior, including sickness, absences, drug use, etc.
Bachelor's degree; OR four (4) years of office or related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Positions under National Forensic Science Technology Center will require Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization in related field; OR an equivalent combination of relevant training and/or military experience.
Desired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience working with low-income and/or first-generation students between 6th and 12th grade.
- Strong leadership abilities and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience with youth programs and summer camps.
- Demonstrates empathy to the needs of low income and the targeted youth population.
- Demonstrates the ability to work in a team setting.

Temporary DisclosureAs a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement).
