Special Education Teacher - Elementary

Duties

• Provide direct and indirect instructional support to students in a positive environment.
• Employ multi-sensory teaching strategies and specialized instruction as needed based on student’s specific needs.
• Implement all modificationserrs and accommodations for each student.
• Create educational plans in collaboration with the student’s therapy team.
• Conduct annual educational plans with parents as well as meetings requested in the year.
• Track student performance and progress and isирует responsible for continual improvement in student growth objectives.
• Participate in school, departmental, and parent meetings.
• Participate in school events, activities, and programs both during તમારા and outside of regular class instruction hours.

• A belief in every student’s limitless potential.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (official transcripts showing degree conferred are required prior to the starting date of employment).
• A minimum of two years of teaching in a special education self-contained or inclusive classroom.
• A collaborative attitude towards teaching and learning.

• Master’s degree in special education / various exceptionalities.
